Fry Away With Me: Lemon and Herb Summer Seasoning for French Fries
I've been in kind of a citrusy mood lately, which I'k guessing has something to practice with summer. So, today I have a citrus-inspired french fry seasoning recipe that you can apply all summer long (as a snack or even luncheon).
Cutting your own french fries, if you're feeling extra fancy or use this elementary seasoning on whatsoever shop-bought diverseness to make your fries taste super fresh. Information technology really adds a lot of flavor as well.Perfect for Fourth of July weekend, to serve with cheeseburgers and hot dogs. Yum!
Ingredients:
– 1/2 loving cup chopped parsley
– i clove finely minced garlic
– 3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
– zest of one lemon
– salt and pepper to sense of taste (we used 1/2 tsp of each)
Steps:
ane. Toss everything in a bowl and combine.
two. And then, when the fries are done baking, sprinkle the mixture on top, while the fries are however hot, and enjoy!
You tin utilise this lemon and herb mix for nearly any summertime item your can think of… grilled corn on the cob (which I'll be sharing in the coming weeks), roasted craven, smashed potatoes, etc.
Also… DIY newspaper cones are a fun way to contain your fries on the become. They're super like shooting fish in a barrel to wrap upwards and tape off. Simply tighten the bottom office of the cone as yous scroll information technology upwardly and continue the top loose. Then, tape off the stop to secure. Easy peasy.Add together a layer of wax paper to the inside if you don't desire your fries to touch the newsprint.
